Sundays at 9:30 am

Our Sunday morning worship services feature a blend of traditional and contemporary music, combining tradition organ hymns, contemporary praise band music, vocal choir, and handbell choir.  Afterwards, grab a cup of coffee/tea/cocoa and a treat in the Gathering Space!

Then we offer a variety of Faith Formation opportunities for each age group:

  • children (K-5th grade) go upstairs for Sunday School (depart right after Communion)
  • youth (6th-12th grade) go upstairs to the youth rooms (Rm 206/207 and Rm 210) for MZY Mornings
  • adults head into the Upper Room for a Faith Forum.

We are a Lutheran Community

Mt Zion is a Lutheran congregation that's a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Lutherans, in short, are people who believe the Gospel — the Good News of Jesus, who conquered Sin and Evil on our behalf and opened up to all humans the way of Abundant Life — is the center of what it means to be human, to be Church, and to be Christian.
