Tosa Cares is one of five finalists chosen by Waterstone Bank to participate in their 100th Anniversary Giving Campaign. Now they need to decide how to split $100,000 between the five nonprofits. Each day during the month of April, you can visit Waterstone’s website and vote for your favorite. The final donation amounts will be based on the the number of votes each nonprofit receives. The awards will be as follows:
- 1st place $30,000
- 2nd place $25,000
- 3rd place $20,000
- 4th place $15,000
- 5th place $10,000
Your vote will bring Tosa Cares that much closer to fulfilling some of the items on their Dream List. Each person is allowed to submit one vote per day during the month of April, so remember to vote every day!! Click here to submit your vote, and spread the word to your friends and family to do the same.
About Tosa Cares
Tosa Cares works to serve our community by providing food and assistance. During this past year, Tosa Cares found it necessary to modify the way it has operated due to the pandemic. The volunteers and the community have responded to the need. As a result, more households have been given assistance with food, clothing, personal care products, school supplies, and diapers, along with the knowledge that people in this community care. The challenge continues.
Tosa Cares is located in Mt Zion Lutheran Church. Cash, food and clothing donations are always accepted and appreciated. Donation barrels are located at the church and at various local businesses.
Tosa Cares’ Dream List includes making the Tosa Cares entrance at Mt Zion more accessible for guests and volunteers. Improvements would facilitate in delivering distributions to guests, especially during this time of Covid.
