Our hiring team was contacted by over 30 candidates interested in this full-time position—we were blessed to have so many quality candidates to consider. Our top choice was Jess, who will be starting on Monday, April 8. Please take a minute to say “hi” and welcome her to Mt Zion, either in the office during the week, or next Sunday, April 14, when we’ll be introducing her during church.
She’ll have some great stories to share! Her degrees in parks and rec administration led to a job as a National Park Ranger, she has volunteered with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, more recently she held office positions in the Greenfield School District and Milwaukee Job Corps, and she is a published author.
This variety of experiences has given her some great problem-solving skills, and she brings a lot of energy and confidence to our office, where her compassion and desire to help others will drive our mission and ministries forward. Welcome, Jess!
