Family event brings Christmas to life

Living Nativity • Friday,  Dec. 15 • 5-7 pm

Take a few hours out of your Christmas preparations to come over to Mt Zion on Friday night, December 15 to remember what Christmas is all about! On our front lawn, we will again present a Living Nativity scene, with real people playing the roles of Joseph, Mary, shepherds, angels, and wisemen, and we will have real animals in our stable. This event is FREE and fun for all ages!

Outside there will be bonfires, carol singing, led by the Mt Zion adult choir and our guests, the West Allis Suburban Singers. Spectators are invited to join in the singing. Dress for the weather, but when you get too cold, come inside for some food and beverages in the Gathering Space. This is a great time to gather around the fireplace and have a chance to get to know people you haven’t met, or catch up with good friends. There will be a craft table for the children. Food will be served by our youth ministry.

Suburban Singers concert at 7:30

The West Allis Suburban Singers will be performing “The Joyful Sounds of Christmas,” at 7:30 in the sanctuary. Directed by Patricia Eby, the Suburban Singers are a mixed chorus of men and women, ranging in age from young adults through seniors. The singers performance seasonal music from Medieval through modern times. The concert will also include traditional holiday favorites, and features an audience sing-along.

Tickets are only required for the concert, and are $10 at the door ($8 for seniors). In advance, tickets are $8. Order advance tickets online.
