Come & See: Experience Worship with us.

At Mt Zion, we recognize the importance of meeting the needs of a diverse community. That’s why our church offers two types of services: Traditional Worship Service and a Contemporary Worship Service. Join us for our worship service and experience the pulse of our life together. At worship, we celebrate together our differences, our relationships with God and with one another.

SPECIAL SERVICE TIMES: Look for a banner at the top of the website’s homepage to see if there are special service times for the Sunday you are worshiping with us.

*Christian education from ages 4 through adult is at 9:40 on Sunday mornings, between services throughout school year.

Summer Service Times:

Summer worship from June 13 – September 19 is a combined service starting at 9:30 a.m. Our schedule of two worship services will resume on September 26, along with Sunday School and Faith Formation at 9:40.

Traditional Service:

8:30 a.m. Sundays offers primarily hymn music, with piano or organ accompaniment. The choir sings regularly from September through May, and the bell choir and additional instruments are often added for festival or special services. Music is not limited to traditional hymn music.

Contemporary Service:

10:45 a.m. Sundays is a very popular service for families. The children are enthusiastic participants in the worship service participating in the Children’s sermon, helping with the offering, participating in Holy Communion, and using an assortment of rhythm instruments to accompany the sending song. We welcome children of all ages at the service, but also offer a nursery with a monitor to allow you to follow the service while taking care of your child. Music at the contemporary services features the praise band performing current pop Christian artist songs accompanied by piano, guitars and drums.

Holy Communion:

Holy Communion is celebrated at all services and all are welcome at the Lord ’s Table.
