The First Day of Sunday School was September 13, 2009

It's not too late to register!

To register, fill out a Sunday School Form (see the link below). You do not need to be a member of Mt. Zion for your child to attend. All are Welcome!

Sunday School is held from 9:45am - 10:45am between the 8:30am and 11:00am Services. This allows parents/caregivers to attend the Adult Forum (in the Upper Room), hang out at Coffee Hour, etc. while they wait for their children. 

 

Sunday School 2009-2010

 

Everyone is welcome and invited to be a part of Sunday School at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.

Sunday School is offered for K-3 thru High School. Click here  to print the registration form. You can drop it off at church or mail it in.

We meet every Sunday, 9:45am - 10:45am, with the Special Events and exceptions listed below.  

September

9/13                 Rally Day

                        8:30A.M.   Morning Worship Service / Grandparent and Grandfriends Day

                        9:45 A. M.  Registration and Opening Ceremony in Sanctuary

                        10:00 A.M.  Sunday School Open House

 

October

10/25                Reformation Sunday:

                        9th Graders Confirmed during 8:30am Worship

10/30                Fall Festival: Children and Family Activity 5:00pm - 8:00pm. (Details to follow)

 

November

11/22                9:45 A.M. Family Advent Program during Sunday School. All are Welcome.

                        We will be making Advent Wreaths as well.

11/29                No Sunday School; Thanksgiving vacation

 

 

December

12/20                Save the Date for the Children’s Christmas Activity - Details to Follow

                        (Looking at an afternoon activity such as church decorating or caroling)

12/24                4:00pm Christmas Eve Children's Service

12/27                No Sunday School

 

January  2010

1/3                    No Sunday School

 

February

2/17                  Ash Wednesday evening service. Lent begins.

March

3/7                    11:00-12:30 P.M.    First Communion Class for 3rd Grade

3/21                  11:00-12:30 P.M.    First Communion Class for 3rd Grade

3/26                  6:00-8:00 P.M.       First Communion Workshop for 3rd Graders                  and their families
