National Evangelical Outreach

Mt. Zion is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), a national denomination (organization of churches) based in Chicago, IL. Part of our ministry at Mt. Zion is to pass along part of our resources to the ELCA, where they work with ministries all over the country.

Because of this connection, we at Mt. Zion are a part of strengthening communities, starting new churches, revitalizing old churches, supporting groups that work with youth, working to end violence in the home and in the community, disaster response, and supporting health ministries. We view this partnership is vital and essential because we can do much more collectively than we could ever do on our own.
