Our Mission Statement: TosaCares works to serve our community by providing food and assistance to families in need.
TosaCares is an all volunteer organization which collects non-perishable food items, personal care items, clothing and school supplies for distribution to families in need.
Families who are in need of assistance are referred to TosaCares through sources in the community. If you or someone you know needs help, contact Linda at (414) 258-0456, x410, or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donated items and fresh foods, purchased using cash donations, are distributed at seven “Food Packs” each year. In addition, individual emergency food distributions are made available when needed.
TosaCares is supported by members of the community and through groups like the Suburban Woman’s Club of Wauwatosa, Kiwanis Club of Wauwatosa, Wauwatosa School Key Clubs, Boy and Girl Scout troops and area churches.
Did you know that in addition to the donated items, the cost for each food packing is about $3,500? We are looking for resources in the community. Any ideas? Contact Carl at email@example.com
*Consider a food drive at your block party, graduation party, or family reunion.*
Financial donations are used to buy fresh meat for each family and provide a gift card to purchase fresh produce and fill in needed food items not donated. Financial donations made to Tosa Cares may be placed in the offering or at church office.
